What to Expect at a Bra Fitting at Kimtimates

Kimtimates are the Bra Fit Specialists, and the boutique is set up a little differently from most traditional bra and retail stores. With more than 130 sizes of bras from more than 12 leading bra brands, and over 70 styles to choose from, we work one-on-one with you in your private fitting room to help you find what works best.

The Bra Fitting Process

When you arrive, Kimberly will begin with a brief consultation to discuss what you’re looking for and any "bra-blems" you may have and bring you to a private fitting room. She will ask you a few questions, assess your size through a visual evaluation, and provide a tester bra for you to try on for fit. There’s no need for measuring tapes, and fit will be assessed while you're wearing a bra – your privacy and comfort are always respected.

Kimberly is happy to take the time to understand your needs and help find the best bra solution for you.

If you’d like, Kimberly can stay in the room to assist with dressing, or she can step out and return once you’re ready. She will guide you through the fitting, bring additional styles to try, and teach you how to adjust your bra for maximum comfort and support.

Once the right fit is found, Kimberly will bring options from the stockroom in your size and preferred styles. This lets you focus your time and energy on finding bras that truly work for your needs.

Coming for a bra fitting can be an educational experience, and Kimberly will work with you to ensure your bra fits you best.

Alterations & Repairs

We also offer alterations and minor repairs to help bras fit better and last longer. For example, we can adjust cups for asymmetry or repair small damages to extend the life of your favourite pieces. Alterations suggested by Kimberly to improve the fit are complimentary; all other requests or repairs may incur a small fee.

Kimberly completes all alterations in-store to ensure you're getting the perfect fit.

Personalized Client Profile

We’ll create a profile that records your purchases and fitting notes – even styles you liked but didn’t buy. This makes future visits easier, helps with reordering favourites, and allows us to build wish lists for anniversaries, birthdays, or special occasions.

Special Order Service

Looking for something specific? We can special order items from many of our brands, including Primadonna, Anita, Elomi, Fantasie, Freya, Goddess, Panache, and Sculptresse.

Please note:

• Most special orders require full pre-payment.

• Only core colourways are available (seasonal colours may sell out).

• Special orders are final sale, unless faulty.

• If an item is on backorder, you may request a cancellation or refund after a set period.

• Some brands have order minimums and seasonal styles, so special orders aren’t always available.
  

Refunds & Exchanges

Due to the intimate nature of our products, refunds and exchanges are not accepted on most products. However, if you have any issues, Kimberly will work with you to find the best solution. We understand that new sizes require adjustment, so we may recommend accessories like hook extenders to enhance comfort.
