Do I need to know my bra size before I come in?
No. We determine which sizes and styles work best during the fitting. Most clients find they’ve been wearing a band that’s too loose and a cup that’s too small. Our fit-by-eye approach ensures you leave with the right size and style for your body.
Do you fit first-time shoppers?
Absolutely. First-time shoppers are our specialty, whether you’re in your teens or into your 90s! We focus on helping you understand fit and finding bras that feel comfortable and supportive.
How long does a fitting take?
Most fittings take 30–45 minutes. This includes a brief consultation, trying on selected styles, and discussing adjustments and care tips so your bras feel great every day.
How much does a fitting cost?
Our fittings are free and include personalized guidance, education on fit, and access to in-store alterations if needed.
Do I need an appointment for a fitting?
No, appointments are not required, however, they are available if you’d like a dedicated time slot on Tuesdays (daytime) and Thursdays (evenings). Scheduling a fitting ensures your fitter can focus fully on your needs without waiting. Contact us to discuss alternative appointment times outside operating hours.
Is your store accessible?
Yes, Kimtimates is on the ground floor with one extra-large fitting room (6.5' x 6' with 36" doorway), and multiple medium-sized rooms. All fitting rooms have solid doors with knobs and locks, seating, full-length mirrors, and fans for comfort. See our Accessibility page for more information.
Can the fitter assist me with putting on or taking off bras?
Yes, assistance is available if required. We recommend booking an appointment for anyone who may need help so your fitter can provide dedicated support in a private, comfortable setting.
Do you offer alterations and repairs?
Yes. We can do in-store alterations such as adding darts or tucks to ensure your bras fit perfectly, or make repairs to damaged bras. Most clients discover that small alterations make a huge difference in comfort and support.
Are the bras in stock, or do I need to special order?
Most bras are available in-store during your fitting, so you can try them on and take them home the same day. For certain sizes, styles or colours, we can special order to ensure you get the perfect fit.
Does the fitter need to see me without a bra?
No. You will be fitted wearing a bra from our assortment. This allows the fitter to assess fit, shape, and support while you remain fully comfortable and covered throughout the process.
Do you carry smaller cup sizes?
Kimtimates specializes in full-bust and plus-size bras. Our selection starts at DD and goes up to UK LL / European R cup. We have a limited assortment of bras in smaller sizes, often S/M/L sizing that can accommodate smaller bust sizes.
