DD+ Lingerie & Swimwear Consulting, Design and Product Development

Creating supportive, properly engineered lingerie for full-bust bodies requires precise technical knowledge, disciplined product development processes, and a deep understanding of how garments perform on real people. With over 20 years in the lingerie industry, formal training and a Contour Fashion degree from De Montfort University in England, and hands-on experience fitting thousands of clients, Kimberly Hamilton develops intimate apparel that functions exactly as intended.

Based in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, Kimberly specializes in DD+ product development, pattern drafting, grading, and technical fit refinement. She has worked with independent start-ups through to billion-dollar global brands, bringing a fit-focused, engineering-led approach to every project. Her work is grounded in technical fit, product & performance testing, and real-world retail and bra-fitting expertise, delivering garments that perform, support, and fit consistently across sizes.

Design Review

Refine designs, tech packs, and patterns to ensure DD+ sizing and optimal fit. Evaluate concepts for practicality, construction, and sourcing.

Prototyping

Construct cut & sew prototypes to test fit and garment functionality. Allows brands to evaluate performance before production.

Fit Development

Support for fit model selection, base size development, size run fittings, wear testing, and performance testing. Conduct garment fittings and provide actionable feedback to ensure consistent fit and function.

Patterns & Grading

Precise digital pattern development and grading for DD+ sizes. Files can be provided in Adobe Illustrator (editable and printable) or Optitex (DXF-ready for CAD).

Consulting

Expert guidance on sizing, fit strategy, and product development considerations. Helps brands make practical, informed decisions about design and construction.

Bra Fit Training

Hands-on training for staff or designers on fitting techniques. Covers both retail customer service and product development evaluation.
